In July 2025, we were pleased to welcome Ofsted to Camp at Aldenham School for our latest inspection. We are delighted to share that the provision continues to meet all statutory requirements, reflecting the commitment of our staff team and the positive experiences of the children who attend.
During the inspection, Ofsted recognised many of the strengths of Club Excel. Inspectors noted that:
โChildren are happy, relaxed and have lots of fun at this warm and welcoming out-of-school club.โ
Ofsted praised the way activities are planned and adapted, commenting that:
โStaff differentiate the planned activities to meet the needs and interests of the children attending. This ensures children are engaged during their time in the club.โ
Childrenโs behaviour and relationships were also recognised as a key strength:
โBehaviour is exceptional and all children remain engaged at activities for long periods of time.โ
Parentsโ views were reflected positively in the report, with inspectors noting that:
โParents talk of the excellent organisation of the club.โ
Safeguarding was judged to be effective, with Ofsted stating:
โThere is an open and positive culture around safeguarding that puts childrenโs interests first.โ
“Staff were observed to be well deployed and vigilant, ensuring children are always safe and well supervised.”
